Everything is corporate.
The idea of employment and “owning” people to any degree is insane. Employee contracts, “at will,” NDAs, non-competes, and yet always exceptions in order for individuals not to benefit anything. And rules and exceptions so the big guys always get the benefit–whether by financial profit or something else. Only exploiters benefit all the time.
There’s something about putting us (humans) in a shape, that destroys us. Putting on the masks restricts us from truly connecting to each other, by hiding behind contracts, the corporate “dialect,” and the threat of possible litigation…
Under layers of money laundering, and an entire made-up system of currency, we enslave ourselves to a feeling of separation from others. And we deplete and betray ourselves for the illusion of productivity and the pathological need to let others exploit our very limited time on this earth, and profit from our life force. Wasting all our creative energy on only survival, when we could be thriving.
Because every system we use to communicate, is censoring us to some degree. We really can’t be more free than saying something to someone face to face. No barriers.
If we all choose to communicate clearly and honestly, rather than constantly live in fear of being policed, punished, or litigated somehow…
If we would all just hold each of our individual selves accountable. Ourselves accountable. NOT trying to control others and hold them accountable to anything.
We only have one responsibility: and that’s everything we do, as singular individuals.
To actually take personal responsibility for everything we do. To be the one to blame for all the good and bad and neutral that we each create in our lives. That’s empowering to know and feel.
But also what a crazy thing to be averse to. We’re all cowards and blamers. Wannabe victims.
But we can be better.
