We can call it whatever we want, but at the end of the day, what we do to “look good” in the professional world is us simply indulging the sociopathic parts of us that can totally shut ourselves off to our true nature, and method act the role of whatever stooge template the industries want next. It’s just corporate propaganda.
For whatever advantage we can get, we play the part.
Whatever the motives or means to “pass” in the eyes of society, they don’t matter. Because the results are the same. We kill a part of ourselves to maintain a lifelong facade.
And should any thing outside the standardized way of doing things ever happen, we are never prepared because we know only one way to solve a problem.
