Remember when you were here?

You and I would talk about everything. You made the world interesting and magical and full of infinite possibility. Sunshine only ever existed because of you.

We would say that we are all ourselves, everyone, and no one, all at the same time. Sharing experience and existing as human simply to feel the variety of the physical body and a physical world.

I think whatever life force or energy that people believe is the entity of a creator–consciousness itself–was bored with only existing with the intangible and infinite potential to create. Infinite intelligence.

And choosing to limit ourselves to the confines of biological experience, we end up living in paradox.

Maybe we are all here to experience a universe without feeling as lonely, or as bored.

Being everything and nothing, simply so we could have someone to love: our self through others.

And even knowing this, knowing that we existed simply to share in beautiful relationship with each other.

The attachment and grief never truly go away. Losing you, losing everything in this world, even though I know we are infinite, never gives reprieve.

It’s the paradoxical joy and agony of our human plight. We can be miserable as deeply as we can be joyful.

And even though it’s an unbearable pain to live through the loss, I would choose to do it all again if it meant experiencing being your daughter through this adventure one more time.
